Version 2.3.1  ·  MIT License  ·  Linux x64 (Ubuntu 20.04+ or equivalent)

Three ways to run
on Linux.

Same app every way — portable AppImage, Debian/Ubuntu .deb, or Fedora/RHEL .rpm.

📦
AppImage — portable
Single file, no install. Works on most desktop distros (Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch, Mint, and more). Make it executable and run — ideal if you want to try LaymenStage without package managers.
🧩
.deb — Ubuntu / Debian
System package with menu entry and proper uninstall. Best for Ubuntu, Debian, Linux Mint, Pop!_OS, and other Debian-based churches.
🎩
.rpm — Fedora / RHEL
System package for Fedora, RHEL, CentOS Stream, Rocky, AlmaLinux, and other rpm-based distros. Installs with a menu entry via dnf or rpm.

Install help
Copy-paste commands for AppImage, .deb, and .rpm

AppImage — make executable, then run (adjust the path if your download folder differs):

If the AppImage fails to start on Ubuntu/Debian, install FUSE: sudo apt install libfuse2 (or fuse3 on newer systems). On Fedora: sudo dnf install fuse fuse-libs.

.deb package — install with dpkg (or double-click in your file manager):

The second command fixes any missing dependencies. After install, open LaymenStage from your app menu.

.rpm package — install with dnf on Fedora (or rpm on other rpm-based distros):

On RHEL / CentOS Stream / Rocky / AlmaLinux you can use the same command with dnf, or sudo rpm -i ~/Downloads/LaymenStage-2.3.1-Linux-x86_64.rpm. After install, open LaymenStage from your app menu.
